MomSub BackUp
MomSub Backup is great for parents who need to know someone is available to step in when their regular provider is out of town, sick, or not on hand to watch their kids.
For a low monthly fee, MomSub provides a vetted backup provider with advance notice (like vacation relief) or an emergency caregiver with last-minute notice (like illness).
To be in the program, you must pay the MomSub BackUp monthly fee by the 1st of every month, and then you are eligible to request backup or emergency care throughout that month.
This is our only subscription service. Our other options require no monthly fee.
MomSub Basic
This is our original matching service.
It works great for parents seeking weekly care. We have many child care providers who can accommodate full-time, part-time, days, nights, before school, after school, weekends, overnights and even flexible hours.
You submit your information and request when and where you need child care (or rides for your kids) each week and how much you can pay.
Nannies also submit their information and when they are available.
Our proprietary algorithm recommends one vetted match from our roster who fits your schedule and budget, and you choose the day and time for a virtual meeting with your recommended provider. We confirm everyone will be there!
If it's a good fit, you start with a one-hour in-person trial. We background check all MomSub providers before the trial.
If all goes well with the trial, you book your provider by paying MomSub directly. You receive an invoice from MomSub and pay online in advance each week. You submit any schedule updates directly to MomSub, and we adjust the invoices and confirm your provider can accommodate your changes. We pay the MomSub child care provider directly.
We handle searching our roster, rate negotiation, background checks, scheduling interviews, guiding Q&A, booking providers, confirming all sessions, invoicing, online payments, credit card transaction costs, direct deposit to providers, tax forms to providers, calendar updates, and ongoing communication to make the process smooth and easy, week in and week out.
MomSub Basic also includes our promise that we will arrange an interview with a different provider who fits your schedule and budget if you do not approve your initial match after the in-person trial.
There are NO subscription fees.
MomSub Premium
MomSub Premium is for families that may have additional criteria beyond location, schedule and budget and don’t want to spend time interviewing the wrong nanny.
We get details from you about location, schedule, budget and additional requirements like CPR certified, vaccinated, professional experience, special needs' expertise, meal prep skills, etc.
MomSub finds the nanny who wants to work where and when you need her within your stated budget and says she fits your other criteria.
We do a preliminary video interview with the nanny. You do not attend the preliminary interview.
If she doesn’t show up to the interview, you don’t hear about her. We find someone else.
If she doesn’t pass the background check, you don’t meet her. We find someone else.
If she doesn’t verify the criteria you need or is not a strong candidate during our preliminary interview with her, we don’t recommend her.
If she passes the background check and shows up to the interview, we send you the video and transcript and give you our recommendation if we think she’s a good fit.
After you approve a nanny from the video, you pay for a one-hour in-person trial.
After you approve a nanny from the trial, you pay us for child care services in advance each week (like you would pay a daycare), and we manage the ongoing care.
If you reject a nanny after a video or in-person trial, we do more preliminary interviews and arrange another in-person trial. If we do not find the right fit on our roster, we do additional advertising to expand the search and reach more qualified nannies if needed until you approve the right fit.
After you approve your ideal nanny, you receive an invoice from MomSub and pay online in advance each week. You submit any schedule updates directly to MomSub, and we adjust the invoices and confirm your provider can accommodate your changes. We pay the MomSub child care provider directly.
There are NO subscription fees.
MomSub Deluxe
This upgrade is an add-on to MomSub Basic that includes a personal child care manager who will conduct a video interview with a nanny who fits your schedule and budget. We will also conduct an interview with a family match if you are interested in a Nanny Share, where one nanny watches the children of two families at the same time (which saves both families money). You will receive copies of the interviews, so you have the option to participate in interviews live or review videos and transcripts at your leisure. You get a personal child care concierge who conducts multiple interviews on your behalf with your nanny and optional Nanny Share family match.

MomSub Agency
This is our nanny placement service.
It works great for moms who are seeking research on many candidates before hiring a nanny.
We get detailed information from you about all of the criteria you are seeking and run ads to find many suitable, experienced nannies who fit your requirements.
Each step is optional because it's up to you how much you want us to handle. The cost depends on how many applicants you want who fit your criteria and how extensive you want the vetting process.
You pay an upfront research fee to receive information on multiple child care providers whose qualifications have been verified and match your needs and criteria.
We can run background checks, contact references, conduct interviews and share a summary of the results at an additional cost per candidate depending on how much vetting we do.
We can record our virtual interviews with candidates and share the videos and transcripts with you to review whenever you want. We can ask the questions you request as well as others we recommend.
If you want MomSub to handle the invoicing, online payments, credit card transaction costs, direct deposit to providers, tax forms to providers, calendar updates, and ongoing communication to resolve issues, that is included in the hourly rate you pay for child care. You determine your hourly rate in advance based on your budget. You can set up autopay to cover your child care in advance each week. MomSub pays the provider directly.
If you prefer another arrangement instead of having us manage weekly care, you can choose to hire one of the vetted candidates and pay them directly yourself. In that case, you pay us a placement fee before the child care provider begins working for you.
If you want the guarantee that we provide a vetted backup provider for those days and times when your regular provider is not available, you can add our BackUp subscription service.
MomSub Corporate
This is our workplace service.
It works great for parents who need extra help finding, arranging, managing and paying for child care that's necessary in order for them to do their best at their job. If this sounds like you, please send the name and phone number of your employer to diane@momsub.com.

Employers pay the fee for their employees to have access to one of our MomSub options.
Employers also have the option to contribute to part or all of their employees' child care costs for emergency care or weekly care.
